The purpose of this course is to develop a further understanding for mathematical terminology, after English Terminology 1, without emphasizing mathematical rigor. Algebra trigonometry, geometry and statistics are analyzed in more detail in an attempt to solve practical problems from various technologies. Last but not least, it is a working knowledge of Academic English devices and conventions, aiming at proficiency in Academic English. English Terminology for Mathematics 1 & 2 are closely related, the latter further developing the former.
